Environmental Management Systems
We can evaluate environmental management systems (EMSs) for various operations and provide economic and environmental expertise in the use of the ISO 14001 speciation standard for EMSs as a policy tool. In cooperation with EPA, RTI developed a Web-based computer tool to assist users in assessing the environmental performance impact of their ISO 14001 systems.
We also support agencies and trade associations that are developing outreach and sector-based support for EMSs. By focusing on pollution prevention and environmental improvements, clients receive recommednations that can reduce costs and improve their bottom line.
