Community-Based Health Research

Our community-based research has led to the development of innovative methods to study marginalized and hidden populations in urban settings. Our focus on urban epidemiology has helped to shape the health care access and well-being of poor populations in city environments. With more than 20 years of experience in urban health studies, we focus on innovative community-based research that explores the impact of cities on illicit substance use, mental health, and infectious diseases among their indigent residents.
