To better support its evolving project requirements in the Arabian Gulf region, RTI opened a new office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in November 2008.

The staff of RTI UAE manage environmental services for the government of Abu Dhabi, with a focus on transferring to local experts the knowledge needed to operate a world-class environmental protection program. We provide a range of technical services, including

Accrediting environmental consultants working in Abu Dhabi
Accrediting the processes used to evaluate environmental studies
Conducting risk assessments
Establishing compliance and monitoring programs for the transportation, development, and industrial sectors

In addition to environmental management, RTI's focus areas in the region include health, education, energy, and technology. We work closely with universities and research centers in the UAE to address complex issues in these focus areas.
