Monitoring and Evaluation
Our monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems support and enhance our international development programs. Strong, effective M&E systems contribute accurate, timely, and relevant information to inform decisions throughout the life of a project.
Quality M&E data provide the best evidence of incremental and overall progress toward results, enabling leadership teams to shape implementation toward the most constructive impacts. We enhance M&E efficiency and cost-effectiveness through multiple strategies, including integrating project M&E systems with appropriate information and communication systems, technology, and support.
Our M&E systems meet reporting needs and support informed decisions that improve effective and efficient resource allocations, enhance impact, and build the international knowledge base toward improved development efforts around the world.
M&E Approach: Information Systems for Information Use
Our approach to M&E strengthens standards, practices, and decisions in international development projects through ongoing methods testing, capacity building, and measured progress toward results, which combine to build knowledge for more effective and efficient programs and interventions.
Rich analytical resources, a culture of innovation, and methodological cross-fertilization across multidisciplinary programs position us well to contribute to the state of the art in M&E. Our project M&E systems combine field experience and local knowledge with leading-edge techniques to provide quality performance M&E systems that are tailored to their environment and users: practical, cost-effective, and sustainable.
