Laboratory Testing and Analysis Services
RTI International has provided laboratory-based chemical testing and analysis services to the U.S. government for nearly 40 years. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has been the prominent government client over the years, though RTI has served many other clients such as U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for as long as 20 years.
RTI is a national leader in PM2.5 speciation, trace element measurement, and development and validation of EPA reference methods for ambient and source organic air pollutants.
RTI technical personnel carefully select analytical procedures, tailor their research and development methods, and only use those instruments that are uniquely required for each client and every project. Our ability to solve analytical problems along with a strong emphasis on data quality assures that we will successfully meet our client’s needs.
Highly experienced professionals provide expertise in organic chemical analysis, trace metal analysis, particle characterization, pesticide analysis, and ion analysis. As a research institute, we are especially well qualified to develop and evaluate new analytical methods, perform exposure assessments, and provide professional quality assurance for environmental studies, laboratory operations, and field sampling and analysis.
