Health Care Financing and Payment
We study policy issues in health care financing and reimbursement, including the design and evaluation of health care insurance, payment, and financing systems. We pay particular attention to the role of financial incentives in health care while examining costs, financial outcomes, and efficiency. Our researchers design, implement, and evaluate payment methods as well as analyze the choices and decisions of individuals and the behavior of health care professionals and institutions in the health care marketplace.
