Chris Davis Joins RTI International as Vice President of Corporate Communications

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—Chris Davis has joined RTI as vice president of corporate communications.

In his new role, Davis will lead RTI's corporate communications strategy and manage a staff of skilled communications professionals with experience in a broad range of corporate communications, including executive positioning, media relations, employee communications, graphic and visual design and brand identity.

"We are pleased to add Chris to our talented team," said Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Lorena Clark. "Chris brings to RTI an extensive background in communications, marketing and international development, and I am confident he will add significantly to our communication, marketing and branding efforts."

Davis has more than 15 years of supervisory experience in the communications field as well as extensive knowledge of international marketing and public information outreach in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe.

During his career, Davis has developed and managed strategic communications with media, nonprofit, corporate and governmental stakeholders.

Prior to joining RTI, Davis was director of marketing, communications and outreach at ARD, Inc. (Associates in Rural Development), an international development consultancy. He has also served as vice president of marketing for Communications Satellite Corporation and as general manager of global market segments for ICO Global Communications.

Davis earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from the School of Commerce and Finance at Villanova University and a master of professional studies from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
