Pamela A. Williams
Senior Research Scientist
Pamela Williams, PhD, is a senior research scientist who leads research studies to design and evaluate obesity prevention, nutrition education, and diabetes self-management programs, and to enhance the effectiveness of health communications. She has over 10 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods including cognitive interviewing; experimental design; survey development; and development, testing, and evaluation of health communications interventions aimed at motivating individuals to engage in healthy behaviors. Dr. Williams has worked on a variety of public health subject areas including nutrition, physical activity, and obesity prevention; diabetes; prescription medications; and cancer prevention and detection.
