Deborah A. Gibbs

Deputy Program Director, Women, Children, and Families Program

Deborah A. Gibbs, MSPH, has more than 25 years of experience in developing evaluation designs that combine qualitative and quantitative methods. She has led numerous studies related to child welfare, violence against women, children’s health, prevention of HIV infection, and health communication. She has conducted structured interviews and focus groups with a wide variety of participants, as well as case studies of program implementation in both health and social service agencies. Ms. Gibbs has developed and applied systematic analytic techniques to interpret qualitative data and organize program data for interpretation.
