Biography

David Ensor, PhD, appointed as an RTI Senior Fellow in March 2002, has more than 30 years of experience in aerosol science and air pollution research and is director of the Center for Aerosol Technology and recognized as a leading expert in filtration, indoor air quality, and cleanroom technology. He founded the American Association for Aerosol Research and the research journal Aerosol Science and Technology. Dr. Ensor consistently contributes to scientific literature and has written 70 peer-reviewed papers and 5 book chapters. He has given more than 160 presentations to major national and international conferences, and holds four U.S. patents.
