Biography

Qiao Zhan, PhD, is currently the senior manager of the Bioanalytical, Commercial Analytical Group (CAG) at RTI. He has more than 10 years of industrial experience in bioanalytical science, specializing in LC/MS/MS and the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry methodology. Dr. Zhan has served as a study director managing and conducting method development, method validation, and bioanalysis to support preclinical and clinical trials with good laboratory practice compliance. His expertise also includes bioanalysis to support toxicity, metabolism, metabolomics, and structural elucidation studies. He has extensive experience in sample cleanup, HPLC-chiral separation, multiplexing high-throughput, and developing methods with extremely low quantitation limits.
