Biography
E. Wayne Holden, PhD, joined RTI International in 2005 as executive vice president of Social and Statistical Sciences. In this capacity, Dr. Holden oversees the largest unit at RTI with annual revenues of approximately $270 million, 1,200 employees, and projects that involve large-scale data collection and management with an emphasis on complex methodological, statistical, and epidemiological approaches. He is a distinguished researcher and clinical psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. Dr. Holden has held faculty appointments at Auburn University, the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, and Duke University School of Medicine. He has authored more than 100 articles and 16 books or book chapters on various topics in clinical child/pediatric psychology and health services research. Before joining RTI, Dr. Holden was president of ORC Macro from 2003 to 2005 and a senior vice president at Opinion Research Corporation.
