Biography
Pamela K. Lattimore, Ph.D., is a principal scientist in RTI's Crime, Justice Policy, and Behavior Program. She is an expert in prisoner reentry and multi-modal correctional program evaluation, and evaluates interventions, investigates the causes and correlates of criminal behavior, and assesses approaches for improving criminal justice system operations. Dr. Lattimore has been a project director or principal investigator for multiple studies, including the Multi-site Evaluation of the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative, the Comparison of Alternative Coercive Drug Treatment Models, the Evaluation of the Juvenile Breaking-the-Cycle Program, the National Evaluation of the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative, the Coordinating Center for the Criminal Justice Diversion Program for Individuals with Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorders, and the Re-entry Court Process Evaluation. She served as chair of the Division on Corrections and Sentencing of the American Society of Criminology from 2001 to 2003, has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and serves on the editorial boards of several professional journals.
