RTI Seminar: Surveys in Palestine

RTI International is proud to sponsor a seminar at RTI Headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC, Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 12–1 p.m. EST. The seminar, titled "Surveys in Palestine," will be delivered by Olfat Hammad of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research.
Speaker Biography
Ms. Olfat Hammad is director of administration at the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research Center (PSR). Ms. Hammad is on leave from PSR and is preparing for a master's degree in public administration at the Kennedy School of Government – Harvard University at the Mid Career/Mason Fellows Program. She has a master's degree in business administration from An-Najah University and a master's degree in democracy and human rights from Bir Zeit University, both in Palestine. She served in different senior level administrative and management positions before working for PSR. Ms. Hammad has been involved closely with Professor Khalil Shikaki in conducting public opinion polling and surveys in Palestine, and has monitored and supervised the implementation of the Democracy Index of Palestine, Arab Democracy Index, and Arab Barometer projects.
